![]() ![]() Next I used a Bourjois Bronzing Primer and Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory to create a contour base before applying foundation. When doing an eye look like this I would always suggest doing it before you put any other makeup on, glitter shadows generally have much more fall out and these can be wiped away and not ruin your base if you do eyes before hand! At £6 the Makeup Revolution palette is in the drug store price range, the selection of colours and pigmentation on these shadows are gorgeous! To add some extra shimmer I used L’Oreal Color Appeal Mono Eye Shadow in Golden. We went for a golden shimmery eye look, I took colours from the Urban Decay Naked 2, Naked 3 and Makeup Revolution Run Boy Run palettes. Steph had said she wanted a warmer tone on her lips, so didn’t want to go too dark on the eyes. While the hair is cooling we started by prepping Steph’s skin with a moisturiser and concealed her eyelids with the W7 Camouflage Kit Cream Concealer – using a concealer or eye shadow primer will help your shadows last and even out your skin tone. After heating each piece of hair for 10-15 seconds I held it until it cooled, rolled it up and pinned it in place – allowing the curls to cool naturally will make them last longer, we wanted these curls to last ALL NIGHT! At this point no hair spray or products were used to hold the hair, just a bobby pin for each section. Using the Remington Sapphire Curling Wand and the Diva Hot Wand to create two sizes of curls in the hair, the Diva has a smaller barrel so allows for tighter curls to be created. Steph had washed and blow dried her hair, to give her hair lots of bouncy volume we went for curls. ![]() I really enjoy doing hair and makeup, even though I was a little anxious as it’s always different doing it on someone else rather than yourself, I was really excited to get started! This weekend I was asked by Steph to do her hair and makeup, with much delight I browsed through Pinterest for some inspiration and came up with the most suited combination. ![]() Winter wedding season is well on its way – jewel coloured dresses, faux furs and more glitz and sparkle than you can shake a stick at! ![]()
